Yellowleaf Creek Mill – Truly the best kept secret in Alabama. A fotowerks preferred vendor

Travel south down Interstate 65 to the Peach Tower exit in Chilton County and take a trip with me down memory lane. You’ll find an amazing venue filled with rustic character and southern charm – where the past meets the present.
Yellowleaf Creek Mill is an 1860s restored grist mill that remains a fixture in the community to this day. Our venue can host up to 250 guests and we can accommodate a variety of events. Weddings, Family Reunions, Corporate Events, Church Events, School Proms, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, and the list goes on. And my personal favorite – Our Christmas wonderland with the light display ready the first weekend in December.
Listed below is some feedback from our 2017 brides:

Regan Scarbrough, February 26, 2017 – “I had the pleasure of getting married at Yellowleaf Creek Mill on February 26th. The venue itself is so beautiful in every way, from the pier to the beautiful stained-glass window. Danyula was absolutely wonderful in helping plan my event from start to finish. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. I had the best experience at the Mill so much that when I have brides come to me about venues, I always recommend the Mill. Thank you for breathing new life into such a historical place.”

Candace Meadows, April 9 2017 – “I cannot express how perfect my wedding day was at Yellowleaf Creek Mill! From the rehearsal dinner to the reception, the staff was so helpful and easy to work with! Mrs. Danyula even asked about details I hadn’t thought of. I was so thankful for her attention to detail and organization. I rented the bridal suite the night before and everything was so clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend the venue to EVERYONE. My husband and I were completely satisfied with our experience at Yellowleaf Creek Mill and so thankful for all of the staff’s hard work and willingness to help throughout the entire process. Thank you!”

Chelsie Gilmore, June 17, 2017 – “There’s nothing I can think of that needed work. You and your staff were great. It’s a beautiful place to get married and doesn’t need a lot of decorating.”

Lydia Hill, September 8, 2017 – “We were completely blown away by the Yellowleaf Creek Mill. There’s not one thing we would change about our experience there – they made sure our special day turned out just perfect! If anyone is in search of a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff, Yellowleaf Creek Mill is highly recommended.”

Erin Bailey, September 22, 2017 – “Yellowleaf Creek Mill is absolutely amazing in every way possible. I never would have imagined that we would have such a beautiful wedding. Not only is Yellowleaf Creek Mill beautiful but the Yellowleaf Creek Mill staff is equally as amazing. They worked so hard to make sure everything went the way we wanted and helped our dream wedding come to life.”

Mary + Ian

At West End Baptist Church on December 16th, 2017 Mary and Ian joined in holy matrimony. They had a beautiful ceremony surrounded by poinsettias, white roses, family, and friends.

After their ceremony, they left to the Yellowleaf Creek Mill for their reception. Throughout the night they danced to DJ Hines and enjoyed the time with all the people they love until their guest sent them off under an arch of sparklers.

Morgan + Brandon

On the slightly chilly November day in 2017 at Yellowleaf Creek Mill, Morgan and Brandon decided to tie their lives together. As the time for them to see each other crept closer and closer, you could see the excitement and love in their eyes. When Brandon finally first saw Morgan in her dress from I DO Bridal in Formal, he had the biggest smile and you could tell that he was the happiest man alive.

After their promises to stay together always, they joined their family and friends at the reception. While looking around at everyone having fun and enjoying themselves, you would see a beautifully decorated area with by flowers from Clanton Florist and arranged by the Morgan and her grandmother and a delicious cake by LaLa’s Cakes and Events.

After dancing the night away and having fun Morgan and Brandon saw everyone off under a shower of sparkles from their guest.

Cynthia + Benjamin

If you were at the Yellowleaf Creek Mill on November 5th, 2017 you would have witnessed Cynthia and Benjamin join their families together with their children beside them. When Cynthia walked down the aisle in her beautiful dress from David’s Bridal and Benjamin saw her for the first time, the joy and love he felt radiated from him.

After saying ‘I do’ to each other, they joined their family and friends at the reception catered by Bertolone’s Cafe, where they danced and laughed the night away.
