We at Fotowerks always ask our brides if they would like an unplugged wedding. And that is simply that ALL the wedding guests are asked to put away their phones, pads, digital cameras etc. so that the professional photographers and videographers can do their jobs.
Seems that this bride didn’t tell her wedding guests to put away their digital devices. Take a look at what turned out to be the brides step-mom deliberately walk in front of the paid photographer during the kiss! We give kudos to photographer Ashley Easterling for shouldering her way past this intrusion to ensure that she got the shot!
Brides, we ask all of you…consider having an unplugged wedding. There are no do overs for you wedding day.
Wedding Photographer Pushes Stepmom Aside to Get the Shot
Yellowleaf Creek Mill hosted the wedding of Krista and Adam on 11/12/2017. Krista had a gorgeous gown courtesy of Bella Couture and Adam looked very handsome in his tux from Men’s Warehouse! The bride’s flowers were a work of art by Leigh Anne White!
Their first look was in the top 5 of our all-time favorites! The love these two share is so evident in every look! Here is what Adam had to say about the first time he saw Krista in her wedding finery:
Standing by the waterfall waiting for the “sneak peek.” Over 10 minutes I waited; trembling with anticipation. What made it worse was I was standing close to the waterfall so I couldn’t hear anyone coming down the steps. I had no warning! When she finally made it down the stairs, and I turned to see her for the first time in her wedding dress, it took my breath away. Literally. Krista became my breathing coach; as if I was going into labor in the middle of a Lamaze class. I had never seen anyone more beautiful in my entire life. Her dress, her hair, her eyes (omg, her eyes), her perfume…I will never forget that moment.
The ceremony was sweet with their friends and families there to support them.
At the reception the food was provided by Tin Top BBQ, some of the best you’ll find in Alabama! Brides cake by Dana Beasley and Grooms cake by Edgar’s Bakery. both beautiful and delicious! The couple made their grand exit with their guests lighting the way with sparklers. They will be honeymooning at Jewel Dunn’s River Beach Resort in Ocho Rios.
We wish them the very best life has to offer!
Chanel and Jason were married at the Sterling Castle on August 19, 2017. These two are so incredibly in love that it made us sigh! The bride had a gorgeous dress by Divine Design Formalwear while the groom looked so handsome in his tux from Mr. Burch.
At the reception, catered by Ninos, the food was delicious and the cakes by Indulge Sweet Shop were works of art! The guests danced the night away to music provided by Jason Shell. The couple made their exit with sparklers on their way to their honeymoon in Migestic Mirage Punta Cana.
Let’s hear what the bride has to say about her big day:
“It was everything I dreamt it would be and so much more. The weather was perfect, still hot but expected for Alabama weather. The decorations were amazing and it was a true fairytale to get married outside of a castle. The reception was amazing. Just celebrating with all of our friends and family. It really was everything we imagined it could be.”
Brandy and Nick were married in a sweet backyard ceremony on July 6th, 2017. The couple were married by their pastor and we all teared up a bit. Right before the “I Do’s” the sky opened up and the rain came down. Tears mixed with rain and laughter soon ensued. The old wives tale bodes well for this lovely couple as it says:
Rain on your wedding day is good luck because it symbolizes the last tears that the bride will shed for the rest of her life.
The bride took care of all her details, everything from the flowers to the cake! Her dress was a Grecian vision her flower crown topped it off!
We wish Brandy and Nick much love, laughter, and happiness forever!
