Cinderella sang, “A dream is a wish your heart makes when you’re fast asleep”. Often in life, what we want the most sings out from the dreams of our hearts. This was the case with Jessica and Sydney. You never know who exactly is going to walk through the door of your life and change it’s course. Jessica recalls that, “Sydney brought her dog to be groomed, we started talking and the rest is history”.

As they became a part of each other’s world, they both came to the realization that they were meant to be together. Sydney decide to take the plunge when the two took a trip together. As Jessica recalls:

“We had to go to Georgia for a family member’s graduation and I have always wanted to go to the Georgia Aquarium. I have never been. So we went, not knowing that my life was going to change that day. Boy was I shocked, but so excited! In the ocean voyager large viewing area in front of the whale sharks we sat down to enjoy all of the marine life as she turned around, got on one knee and popped the big question.”

The two decided to have an elopement ceremony that reflected the happily ever after they knew they would have. On February 18th, 2017, surrounded by their closest friends and family, the two were wed at the majestic Sterling Castle. Sydney was all smiles in her Stafford pants, pink VanHeusen shirt, and Perry Ellis vest. Jessica was lovely in her gown from David’s Bridal and with her bouquet of pink roses. Sydney remembers the way that Jessica made her way out of the castle, across the drawbridge, and towards her was “truly something out of a fairy tale”. Jessica claims that the favorite part of her day was, “…when I saw my spouse for the first time and the expression on her face as I was walking down the aisle”. The two, hand in hand and heart in heart, declared the unbreakable bonds of their love through their vows and through a lock ceremony. Once the lion’s head lock clicked, and the key was thrown into the heart-shaped lake, Jessica and Sydney sealed their marriage with a storybook style kiss. The newlyweds were followed back inside the castle where all enjoyed the delicate cake crafted by Indulge Sweet Shoppe with the foyer. The two brides danced together in the castle’s gorgeous entryway with the beautiful doors as the backdrop, while “How Long Will I Love You” softly flowed through the air.

Such a tender moment carried through to their exciting honeymoon destination: Disney!

It was what all dream are made of. We ate dinner with princesses, strolled down Magic Kingdom Main Street, every night we had an amazing view of wishes fireworks. We ate breakfast with Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, and Piglet. In our tropical paradise we even had tiki torches that lit the way to our honeymoon suite at the Polynesian Resort where we were able to enjoy all the amenities that club level had to offer including room services and fine desserts. It was incredible at Disney.” Jessica and Sydney plan to go back to Disney one day, but for now their everyday happily ever afters living happy and healthy and caring for their dog child, Scarlet. Their advice for your own happily ever after is, “Enjoy what life brings you. Have fun. Laugh and communicate with your spouse every second you get a chance to. Love one another.“
